Twice a week we meet to speak Italian naturally, in an informal, multicultural setting. Conversations range from personal interests and current events to cultural curiosities.<\/span><\/p>\n

This activity is designed for learners of Italian as a second language: a valuable opportunity for language practice through conversations with Italian mother-tongue volunteers who share their linguistic and cultural knowledge to support students.<\/span><\/p>\n

We usually meet in the Centro\u2019s <\/span>Saletta Heleno<\/b> or on the terrace when it\u2019s sunny!<\/span><\/p>\n

Because it works. Thanks to the informal, intercultural nature of the conversations, students can practice Italian in a direct and engaging way, and both students and volunteers experience genuine encounters: discovering cultures, sharing ways of life, and truly getting to know one another.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a real bridge between cultures, built step by step.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s also a simple way to become part of the Centre\u2019s community, make new friends, and experience Florence from the inside \u2014 a vibrant, creative city that\u2019s a laboratory of cultures and social innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are no fixed days or times: the Centro\u2019s Office collects requests and creates an initial match between student and volunteer. After that, they decide together when to meet.<\/span><\/p>\n
